EAST – Creative concept brand

‘East’ is the proud result of the co-creation between Smit Kwekerijen and Elburg-Smit. A new concept brand for special plants from the Far East.

“Back in the beginning of the 19th century missionaries found great plant species in Asia. The coordinates brought them to the most remote places in Vietnam and China. The language and the Chinese characters brought the missionaries inspiration for these special plants. They took home the plant species from the jungle to the European continent. They started breeding, which was the origin of a new collection of special plants from the Far East.

The origins of these beautiful plants come together in ‘East’ with our strengths; creation and production. Our wrapping, SmartCup® and hanging labels reinforce the development Begonia massoniana and the well-known Pilea peperomodes and give the presentation an added value that endorses the authenticity and the story behind the plants.

This project will be on display on March 6 & 7 at stand A.14 the ‘Exhibitors Highlights’ at the Trade Fair in Naaldwijk.
