City gardens
Extending your inside space out into your outdoor space is a trend that has been going on for some time now. City gardens, also known as urban gardens, have experienced a huge rise in popularity in recent months as people have been stuck at home and unable to travel. Many people have seen how growing plants and flowers on your balcony, roof terrace, or city garden can have a positive effect on well-being.
A greener city is a cleaner city, as plants improve air quality in your environment by removing fine particles. Balconies and patios are also often used for growing fruit, herbs, and vegetables. We’ve seen a huge number of vertical gardens that create stunning green walls. Our photographers have shown that limited space shouldn’t stop you from having your own bit of green! Whether a roof terrace with spring bulbs, a city balcony with herbs and annuals, or a garden with potted perennials, everybody enjoys having a leafy, colorful, and healthy patch of green!
